The Cincinnati Romance Review is a peer-reviewed electronic journal published by the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures of the University of Cincinnati.

We invite original submissions for our regular issues on any subject related to  Romance languages, literatures, and cultures. Submissions may be written in French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.

Volume 40, a special issue on Circum-Caribbean Poetics, has just been published. We are still accepting submissions for the next regular issue, volume 41, to be published in fall 2016.

The journal was founded in 1981-82, the year after the Cincinnati Conference on Romance Languages and Literatures began. Félix Menchacatorre and Eric Pennington were the managing editors, John White the supervising editor, and Donald W. Bleznick the executive editor. Since 2008, the Cincinnati Romance Review has been published in electronic form.
